Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT Class 3 Two-Inch Hitch Receiver. Adding a hitch receiver to the back of your Pathfinder is gonna allow you to tow a small trailer if you add some wiring with it. It'll allow you to haul those cargo carriers or bike racks on the back to free up some of that space inside and put it outside on a rack. This hitch will feature a two inch by two inch hitch receiver tube opening. That is going to be the most common size of hitch receiver, which is going to allow you to pick up a lot of different accessories. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed in the vehicle and the best part about it is it's a hidden cross tube, meaning the main portion that bolts up to your vehicle is hidden behind the rear fascia, leaving only the receiver hanging down. You also have a nice bracket here so if you do plan on towing, mounting up your 7- or 4-pole makes it nice and easy by being able to bolt it up to this bracket. Now this being a 2-inch by 2-inch is really nice because it's kind of the standard size throughout the industry. You're gonna have plenty of options available, so whatever life throws at you, you'll be able to find an accessory for that. Now, when putting your accessories in place it requires a 5/8 pin and clip. more

Now this is what the hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your vehicle and the great part is it's a hidden cross tube so meaning the main bracing portion that bolts to your vehicle is gonna be hidden behind the rear fascia leaving you with only the your two inch receiver hanging out. So you get all the uses of the hitch without really taking away from the look of the vehicle. And this one being a two inch by two inch is really nice. It's kind of the standard size for a lot of hitches. And so as far as accessories go you really have a lot of options. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the Curt trailer hitch receiver, here on a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder. So this is what our trailer hitch is going to look like installed. Now, thankfully, most of it is actually hidden behind our bumper here, so the only thing we're going to see is the receiver tube. Therefore, we get a very factory like finish. Now, what we can see, the receiver tube, it has a nice black powder coated finish, which is going to do a great job of helping the hitch hold up to rust and corrosion, being that it is on the underside of the vehicle. And it also, again, helps it blend in more due to our black plastic panels here. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the CURT trailer hitch receiver, here on our 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed, but something I really like about this particular one, is that it has a hidden design. So, what this means is the cross tube that attaches to the receiver in each frame bracket, is actually hidden up behind the bumper there, therefore giving us the best overall factory-like appearance. It's also gonna provide the best ground clearance because the receiver tube is tucked up nice and tight underneath the bumper. So if we take a closer look, we're gonna see a durable black powder coated finish, which is gonna help, one, blend in with the bumper well, and two, it's gonna help protect it from rust and corrosion, being that it's on the bottom of the vehicle here. We're also gonna have a nice rounded collar on our receiver tube opening. more

Today in your 2020 Nissan Pathfinder, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install, Draw-Tite's 2" trailer hitch receiver.A portion of the crossbar is going to be hidden behind the bumper, but towards the center here, you will be able to see it sticking below. But it doesn't detract from the vehicle's looks too much because it is tucked back pretty nicely.At the end, we have our 2" x 2" receiver, which is going to be great for all of your towing needs, whether you're just wanting to put a bike rack in it and load it up with some bikes to hit the trail, or if you want to hook up a ball mount in it, and do some work with a trailer. It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip.Now one doesn't come included with the hitch, but we have plenty here at etrailer.com. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Rob here, detroit.com, and today you're going to be taking a look at the Curt class three custom-fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2018 Nissan Pathfinder, and this is what our hitch is going to look like. Once we have it installed, it's going to have a really clean, almost factory look to it because the crosstube's going to be completely hidden behind the bumper, and all we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out. So it's not going to distract from the looks of our Pathfinder and we're going to have pretty good ground clearance. Because again, that crosstube's going to be completely hidden behind the bumper. It is a class three hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Speaker 1: Today in this 2018 Nissan Pathfinder we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Reciver, part number 76031.Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you'll notice this hitch sits nice and tight up against the rear fascia. But the end of the receiver doesn't stick out past it. So the floating cargo door hatch area, we don't have to worry about running our leg into it.This hitch does have one unique feature that other hitches don't have, which makes this a great candidate for towing trailers. We have this electrical bracket that's welded on to the receiver which serves as a mounting point for any of your wiring harnesses that you may have.On the side of our receiver you'll find two pin holes. The larger diameter one, that's your five eighth industry standard hitch pin hole, they use a pin and clip to secure your hitch knotted accessories. more

Our hitch sits nice and tight against the bottom of our fascia but yet we still have plenty of clearance around the opening, making this an ideal hitch to use with bike racks and cargo carriers.On the side of our receiver you'll find two holes. The larger one closest to the the front of the vehicle, that's our industry-standard 5/8" diameter hitch pin hole that we use to secure any of our hitch-mounted accessories. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2017 Nissan Pathfinder, we'll be having a look at and installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame 2 inch trailer hitch receiver, part number 76031. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's nice and tucked up underneath our rear fascia here, giving us optimal ground clearance and hiding most of the body of the hitch underneath the fascia itself, giving us a nice, clean look. On the side of our hitch here, we'll see our standard 5/8 of an inch diameter hitch pin hole and towards the rear, we'll have our J Pin stabilization device hole. J Pin stabilization device will take some of that annoying shake, play and rattle out of what's inserted into your receiver such as your bike rack or your cargo carrier. Down on the bottom here, we have some nice, large, easy to use safety chain loops on a plate welded to the bottom of the receiver and the frame. Off to the driver's side, we have this nice attachment point here that's welded onto the hitch, giving us a place to mount our 4-pole flat trailer wiring or our 7-way RV wiring, or whatever other trailer wiring that we have on our vehicle. This hitch features a 900 pound max tongue weight rating and a 6,000 pound gross trailer weight rating. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame trailer hitch receiver, part number 76031. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. As you can see, it's nice and tucked up underneath our rear fascia here. The very end of the receiver sits about even with our rear fascia here. That will make it easy for us to hook up any hitch-mounted accessory we may have and not worry about any interference with our fascia. We have this nice collar that's welded on the outside edge of the receiver, giving it a little bit of extra durability and also giving it a more finished appearance. On the side of our receiver we have our industry-standard 5/8" diameter hitch pinhole right here. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Nissan Pathfinder - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite max frame trailer hitch receiver, part number 76031. What I really like about this Draw-Tite hitch, it's really set up for a person who's going to be towing a trailer and also recreational use. You have this nice bracket that's welded on here to mount your electrical accessories. That way it's one less thing you have to worry about buying in order to have a complete towing package. If we're using it for recreational use, I like the J pin stabilization device hole. If I have a cargo carrier or bike rack back here, I don't want to listen to it rattling around when I'm traveling down the road. more

Today in our 2016 Nissan Pathfinder, we will be installing the Draw Tite trailer hitch receiver, part number 76031. Hey, here's what our hitch looks like installed. Now our hitch has our industry standard 2x2 inch receiver opening here. Now on the bottom of our hitch, underneath the receiver and the frame of it, we have these nice large safety chain openings here. They'll be able to fit pretty much every safety chain out there on easily. To the side of our receiver, we have our industry standard 5/8 of an inch diameter hitch pin hold towards the front. Towards the back we have a J-pin stabilization device hole. more

All right today on this 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we're going to install part #C13126 from Curt. All right this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on a vehicle. Next we'll give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 15 inches and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 2-1/2 inches. Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. OK. The first thing we need to do is lower our spare tire. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2013 Nissan Pathfinder - Curt- Video
Today on our 2013 Nissan Pathfinder, well be installing the Curt Hitch, part number C13126. This is what our hitch will look like once its installed. Next, well go ahead and give you a couple measurements to assist your selecting accessories for your new hitch.From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most part of the bumper is 2 and three-quarter inches. From the top of the inside of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 14 inches. This will assist you selecting accessory such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier.Now lets go ahead with installation. Note, before we begin the install, weve already gone ahead and lowered and removed the spare tire for the ease in installation of the hitch. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2004 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today on this 2004 Nissan Pathfinder we will be installing Hidden Hitch part number 70609. This installation will also apply for Draw-Tite hitch part number 75077. We are underneath the vehicle now and we are taking a look at the outboard side of the passenger side frame rail. As you can see we have got a tow hook mounted here. This is being held in place with these three bolts. We are going to need to remove those three bolts along with the tow hook and that is going to provide three of the attaching points for our trailer hitch on the passenger side. We are also going to be using a fourth weld nut on the outboard side of the frame that is not currently in use located right here. For all four of these weld nuts we are going to be using the new hardware that is provided with the installation kit. Then looking at the driver side frame rail you can see we have got the same tow hook. Again we are going to be removing this and using the same four attaching points for our trailer hitch. On this side you can see we have got our carbon canister in the way. It is going to need to be lowered. 00:55 more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2000 Nissan Pathfinder- Video
Today we are going to be installing hitch part number 75077 from Draw-Tite on a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder. And this installation will also apply to the Hidden Hitch part number 70609. We are underneath the vehicle now, and I am going to go ahead and point out the mounting location for the trailer hitch. We are on the drivers side, the outboard side of the frame, and you can see there is a factory tow hook here. There is one of these on each side of the vehicle. The hitch is actually going to replace these tow hooks, so if you want to remove them - the bolts - they are holding the tow hook in place, and they need to be removed and come down. And clamped in here is also a fourth weld nut that we are going to use as the mounting location as well. It is toward the rear of the frame you will be able to see it once we get the tow hook removed. As you can also see, the small control box here on the drivers side is going to be in the way of me removing the bolts from the side of the frame and getting the hitch up into place. So we want to lower this down and out of the way as well. There are three bolts holding the box in place - one here on the outboard side, one here at the rear, and one here on the inboard side as well. So we are going to ahead and remove that first, and then remove the tow hooks from both sides of the vehicle. more
